Kirkgate links the Market Square with the Railway Station, St Johns Parish Church and the waterside.
We are just 30 seconds walk from the station which offers frequent access to Harrogate and the mainline stations of York and Leeds.

From Harrogate:

Take the A59 following signs for Knaresborough.
Pass through Starbeck, crossing the level crossing, down the hill and over the River Nidd.
Once you cross the river bridge you will cross two zebra crossings before you come to a set of traffic lights. Go straight through the first set and then right at the second set onto Knaresborough High Street.
Cross a further zebra crossing and then look for Barclays Bank on the right.
Turn here into the Market Place. Drive along the bottom of the market place and take the first turning right. This is Kirkgate.
Drive to the bottom of the hill and Gallon House is situated on the left at the bottom of the hill.

From the A1:

Leave The A1 at Junction 37 signposted A59 Knaresborough and Harrogate.
Follow the A59 towards Harrogate until arrive at a roundabout.
Turn right for Knaresborough.
Follow this road which becomes Knaresborough High Street.
Look out for Barclays Bank on your left and turn left here into the Market Place. Drive along the bottom of the market place and take the first turning right. This is Kirkgate.
Drive to the bottom of the hill and Gallon House is situated on the left at the bottom of the hill.

At Gallon House we accept cash or cheque in payment on departure.
We do not accept Credit Cards.

Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel, we need 48 hours notice.
If we don’t receive 48 hours notice we will charge you the full rate of your stay.
